1. Lewis Hamilton
After speaking to the BBC Lewis Hamilton stated that he has recently transitioned to the vegan diet after being shocked by the process and cruelty to animals involved with a meat diet.
2. Venus Williams
The American tennis star that has won 7 Grand Slam singles titles and 14 Grand Slam Women’s doubles titles is vegan. Venus Williams adopted the vegan diet after doctors diagnosed her with Sjögren’s syndrome in 2011. She was advised that a raw diet would reduce symptoms such as extreme fatigue and joint pain.
3. Jermain Defoe
According to “Mens Health” Defoe credited his comeback in March to his vegan diet. Defoe said he doesn’t find anything hard to give up when he knows how it can improve his goal scoring.
4. David Haye
Haye started researching the benefit of a plant based raw diet and how it could improve his recovery times and healing rates after taking a break from the ring due to a serious shoulder injury.
